Cookie Notice
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Cassandra AML uses only strictly necessary cookies — the small number required to sign you in securely and keep your session protected. We do not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies, we do not embed third-party trackers, and we do not use tracking pixels in our emails. Because only essential cookies are set, no consent banner is required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Cookies we set
- cassandra_session— an encrypted, HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you signed in. Essential; sign-in does not work without it.
- cassandra_mfa_challenge— a short-lived, HTTP-only cookie used only during a multi-factor sign-in challenge. Essential and transient.
- cassandra_theme— remembers your light or dark theme choice. A functional preference cookie that stores no personal information.
2. What we do not do
We set no marketing, advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks. Session and challenge cookies are httpOnly, SameSite=Lax and, in production, Secure.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in, because it is essential to authenticated use of the service.
4. More information
For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@cassandraresearch.com.
